Hey guys!
Did a note of fear strike your heart when you saw the title of this week’s newsletter? We get it. There is a lot of known and unknowns when it comes to the United Kingdom Medical Licensing Assessment, so we will talk about it in brief.
Basically, if you’re due to graduate from medical school in 2024, you can expect that the PLAB exam will be gone and replaced by UKMLA. It will become a national exam for UK and international medical graduates alike. There will still be two parts, with part one being a computer-based multiple choice exam, and part two being a clinical/patient assessment.
The long and the short of it though- don’t stress. If you know you’re going to face it, we will try our best to keep you updated as and when we find out anything more!
Song of the Week
Do you ever hear a song and it feels like it just understands you and your circumstances? Bill Withers has the type of voice and sang the kind of songs that makes one feel like they aren’t alone, something that is especially reflected in his song Lean On Me.

Have you ever wondered what the day to day life was for teenagers in early 1990s in Northern Ireland? Are you interested in watching a side-splitting comedy with relatable moments set amidst British checkpoints and military presence? Then do not miss Derry Girls. Seriously. Watch it.
